Today, offset printers must produce economically and at the highest quality level. They need steady production conditions and any means to markedly cut down the waste rate. This is why among other things a constant quality of the fountain solution during the entire production run, low 2-propanol consumption and a consistent temperature level in the printing unit are of outstanding importance. With waterless offset printing, the influence on the temperature in the inking unit and/or the printing unit will, of course, have an even more decisive effect.
